How You Can Help
Join the $1/Month Community Movement
Housing instability and homelessness affect real people right here in Mower and surrounding communities. You don’t need to give a fortune to make a real difference. When our entire regional community comes together, just $1 a month builds reliable, lasting support, safe shelter, and life-skills training for our neighbors.
Our Vision For Hope Place
Transitional Housing
Hope Place envisions a safe, supportive transitional housing program for adults experiencing homelessness or housing instability. We believe that having a safe place to live is an important first step toward rebuilding stability, confidence, and independence.
Our transitional housing program will provide more than a temporary place to stay. Residents will have access to practical guidance, life skills, individualized support, and resources to help them address barriers, work toward their goals, and prepare for permanent housing.
Hope Place is being developed as a stepping stone—not a permanent housing solution. Our goal is to walk alongside residents during a difficult season, provide the tools and support they need, and help them move forward with greater stability and confidence.
Our Mission Statement
Hope Place exists to provide safe temporary housing, practical community resources, compassionate support, and pathways to self-sufficiency for individuals experiencing homelessness or housing instability—helping them move from immediate crisis toward stability, permanent housing, and long-term independence.

While we work behind the scenes to secure our residential facility, winter isn’t waiting—and neither can we. Through our Winter Warmth Drive, Hope Place is already stepping in to provide essential cold-weather gear, shelf stable food items and hygiene supplies to unhoused neighbors in our community. Every blanket delivered and every warm pair of socks handed out represents the first step toward restoring dignity and building relationships in our town.
